Merry Christmas: small gifts for all my violin students

Merry Christmas !

At the end of the lesson the other day, I handed you a small gift which made your big beautiful smile come out.

You are 14, a freshman in a high school, rather quiet and a little shy.

Since you are usually busy with your school and other activities, you are very often tired and I don’t see much enthusiasm for your violin lessons.

However, you worked hard for the orchestra audition. You tried to work with my guidance and persisted in making things better, never gave up, which was wonderful to see. It was first time for me to see your strength.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful smile with me then.

I always wrap up some sweets, like cookies and chocolates etc, for every one of my students, regardless their age, which make everyone smile. 😀
