Stravinsky “Rite of Spring”: Is this a right note? –a typo in music–

“Teacher! I have to play this at the audition, but at 183, the bottom note is different from other sections, and it is very difficult to play !!”

“It is the last section of Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring. If you have any doubt, it is best to check with the full score. Let’s take a look at it together.

In my score, both violin sections play the chord with the bottom note D. There may be another edition, but I think this can be a typo. I recommend you to play D, not F at the audition, and you can say that you looked at the score, if the judge asks you anything. I think the conductor (the judge) knows about it, though.”
